I’m Jodie. I live in Newcastle, a beautiful city on the east coast of Australia.

When we were kids, people would ask my siblings and I what we wanted to do when we grew up. My older sister always said she wanted to get married and have kids. I always said I wanted to travel the world.

We both got our wish! My sister has a husband and two rowdy boys, and I have 40 countries under my belt. And I am nowhere near done exploring this big wonderful world!

I prefer the wild places to the cities and I’m a sucker for mountains, snow, volcanoes and wildlife. I’m quite active, with cycling and running being a big part of my life, and I have started incorporating these into my travels.
